A simple introduction to making yourself understood: learn the Russian alphabet and how you can enter the Russian alphabet in Babbel. Learn how to greet people and introduce yourself, ask others how they are, where they're from, and say how you are and where you work. You'll be led step-by-step through the alphabet, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. It's a literacy course with important basic vocabulary, and is based on Level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The next steps: Learn how to ask others their name and to introduce yourself. Speak about nationality, work and family and practise your first Russian verbs. Learn the words you'll need most to be understood at the airport and to talk about everyday activities. This is the Beginner's Course 2, which is based on the vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation appropriate for Level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
With the Beginner's Course 3 you'll broaden your vocabulary regarding various themes like sport, where you live, shopping, transport etc. and will learn how to speak about routines. In the dialogues you'll learn how to use Russian in practical, everyday situations in correspondence with Level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You'll also learn more about the use of the accusative and prepositional cases, and new verbs will be introduced.
