There isn’t simply one type of Italian, oh no! Indeed, in this course, you’ll follow Professor Colombo, a somewhat awkward (but loveable!) professor, on his journey to discover some of the varieties of Italian, from Venetian to Sicilian. You’ll learn about some of the discerning features of the pronunciation in different regional accents, and you’ll also encounter some new regional words and phrases. This course is based on levels B2–C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, and focusses on training listening comprehension.
